Mohallabiah Strawberries cake

Ingredients: For Base
  • 3 cups digestive biscuits, crumbled ½ cup butter, melted

For Filling:
  • 1 tin NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon blossom water
  • 500 g strawberries, cut into halves (save a few for yourself!)
  • 5 tablespoons strawberry jam (go ahead, lick the spoon, you know you want to!)

Directions:
  • Combine biscuit crumb and butter
  • Knead ingredients into a dough
  • Press dough over the base of loose bottom cake tin
  • Set in the fridge for 10 minutes.
  • Pour NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk, water and corn flour
  • Stir until mixture thickens
  • Bring to boil.
  • Add blossom water
  • Pour hot cream mixture
  • Set aside to cool
  • Arrange strawberries over the cream mixture
  • Heat strawberry jam until it boils
  • And pour using a spoon over the strawberries
  • Tip: For a thicker cake, double the recipe
